Taking Pre-orders – email us email@example.com – Coming Soon… The Crib™ Sawhorse kit is laser cut form heavy duty 12 gauge steel, with close tolerances, increasing the efficiency of welding. Our kit ships in pieces – flat packed. Further efficiency in welding comes from our slots and tabs (or pin and hole) at all of the fit-up joints needing to be welded. This greatly reduces the need for jigs or fixtures and facilities efficiency of welding by the end user.
Our sawhorse kit ships unassembled and UNWELDED and MUST BE WELDED BY A CERTIFIED WELDER, FOLLOWING A WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS) ACCORDING TO AWS D1.1 WELDING CODE STANDARDS – OR EQUIVALENT. A convenient tool crib is accomplished by the stabilizing brace/plate connecting the legs to the horizontal top horizontal rail. Holes and slots are provided for common tools to be placed in, or hung from this tool crib – including: Grinders, pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, sharpie’s etc. This kit will make one sawhorse (not sold in pairs).
DISCLAIMER: Weldables Inc sells material only. (see our material quality page – WARNING – SHARP EDGES!) All of our materials must be welded, and / or assembled. End user welding skills, welding processes, tools, equipment, and assembly are beyond our control – Therefore Weldables Inc. disclaims all liability for damage or injury that may result. By purchasing our material, you understand and agree to this disclaimer. By purchasing our material, you also agree that our materials are not rated for assemblies used on public roads, overhead lifting, or over any body part, or in any circumstance that could cause bodily injury.
NEVER USE OUR KITS FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING OR OVERHEAD SUPPORT!
WARNING & SAFE USE: DO NOT USE THIS MATERIAL KIT OR THE END USER WELDED ASSEMBLY FOR OVERHEAD LIFTING OR OVERHEAD SUPPORT. DO NOT EXCEED THE WORKING LOAD LIMIT. NOT INTENDED FOR USE AS A SAFETY DEVICE, OR IN ANY APPLICATION WHERE A FAILURE MAY RESULT IN BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. LOAD MUST BE UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED AND NON-SHIFTING ACROSS THE TOP HORIZONTAL RAIL OF THE SAWHORSE. LOAD MUST BE SECURED AND STABLE. DO NOT USE ON A SLIPPERY SURFACE. USE ONLY ON LEVEL SURFACES. DO NOT USE SAWHORSE IF CRACKED OR DAMAGED. DO NOT STAND OR SIT ON SAWHORSE. DO NOT USE AS SCAFFOLDING. DO NOT USE AS A STEP LADDER OR STANDING PLATFORM. DO NOT SLIDE, PUSH, PULL, LIFT OR ANYWAY MOVE THE SAWHORSE WHEN WEIGHT IS ON TOP. DO NOT OVERLOAD. USE ONLY ON FLAT, DRY, HARD AND LEVEL SURFACE. FLOOR SURFACE SHOULD BE CLEAR OF DEBRIS AND CLUTTER.
*Our sawhorse kits are made from heavy gauge steel. Use care when lifting, or moving. Use two or more people when lifting.
*This material kit and the end user welded assembly is not intended for use by persons (including children and persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.

BY PURCHASING THIS MATERIAL KIT, YOU AGREE THAT IT WILL BE WELDED BY A CERTIFIED WELDER, FOLLOWING A WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS) ACCORDING TO AWS D1.1 WELDING CODE STANDARDS – OR EQUIVALENT. Weldables Inc. does not provide completed welded assemblies and therefore can not guarantee the final outcome of this “end user welded” material kit. Weldables is providing the material only. WELDABLES SELLS THIS MATERIAL “AS IS” When welded to the AWS D1.1 welding code standard, The Crib™ sawhorse can hold up to *500 pounds maximum (uniformly distributed load) per pair (250 pounds for each sawhorse) – *Only if the weight (load) is uniformly distributed across the top horizontal rail of the sawhorse. “Uniformly-Distributed-Non-Shifting-Load” means that all of the weight is distributed evenly across the top rail – AND NOT CONCENTRATED IN ONE OR MORE AREAS OF THE TOP RAIL and secured by rigging to eliminate shifting or sliding of the material. Material should only be lowered and lifted vertically onto the top rails of the saw horse.
NOTE: WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS) AND THE DESIGN OF WELDED CONNECTIONS
The end user is responsible for coming up with or using a Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). Welding Procedure Specifications should demonstrate full and complete information regarding location, type, size, and extent of all welds and shall be clearly shown on the drawings.
Weld bead penetration should be indicated. Also note that certain welding sequences and techniques can affect joints and make then susceptible to warpage, distortion, and shrinkage stresses. Therefore, to minimize shrinkage stresses and distortion it’s especially important that the welding sequence and technique be carefully noted and followed.
